Life as an Anthropologist

Claes: In the winter of 2008 I went on a trip to South America, visiting Chile, Bolivia and Peru to do a number of stories for Swedish National Public Radio. At the very end of that trip, I traveled to a small farming village in the Peruvian Andes. It is called Copa Grande, and sits just at the foot of a big, beautiful glacier. In the dry season, between the months of May and September, the melt-off from this glacier provides the village with water.
